In the spring of 2020, as the world came to a standstill, an idea was born. While Spain, like many other countries, was under strict confinement, we found ourselves at a crossroads. Many were lost in uncertainty, unsure of what to do with their time. But for us, this period became a catalyst for creativity. We decided to bring to life a vision that had been in our minds for years: to create a clothing brand inspired by ancient civilizations and mythology.
A few months later, Ménade Barcelona was born—a small, independent brand dedicated to sustainable fashion. Our mission was clear from the start: to blend history, mythology, and art into wearable storytelling. Every aspect of the process—from illustration and web design to screen printing, packaging, and photography—has been carefully crafted by us, driven by passion and dedication.
From Barcelona to Torino: Expanding Our Mythological Universe
Four years later, our journey led us to the historic city of Torino, Italy. Surrounded by ancient Roman ruins, timeless architecture, and breathtaking landscapes, we found the perfect setting to evolve our brand. Being immersed in a city with such deep historical roots has only fueled our inspiration and strengthened our commitment to sharing the beauty of ancient mythology through fashion.
Initially, our audience was primarily history enthusiasts and mythology lovers from Spain, particularly those fascinated by Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology. However, our vision has always been bigger. Moving to Italy marked a new chapter—expanding Ménade Myth Wear to a broader European audience while staying true to our core values: sustainability, quality, and storytelling through design.
